Approved Bag Policy Items

Milwaukee City Conference announces updated bag policy

To improve the efficiency of our security processes and the safety of our student-athletes, spectators, and staff, the Milwaukee City Conference has implemented a bag policy for all types of bags allowed into athletic facilities.

We appreciate your cooperation and encourage you to avoid bringing any bags into our athletic facilities. Please review the following guidelines.

Approved Bags for Entry

Spectators may only bring the following styles of sizes of bags into Milwaukee City Conference athletic events:

  • Clear bags (maximum size: 12″ x 12″ x 6″).
  • Small clutch purses (maximum size: 6.5″ x 4.5″).
  • One-gallon freezer bags (maximum size: standard size).

The following bags are not approved for entry: backpacks, briefcases, binocular cases, coolers, computer bags, camera bags, fanny packs, luggage of any king, large purses (or bags larger than a small clutch).

Exceptions will be made for any ADA/medically necessary items or diaper bags (maximum size: 16″ x 16″ x 8″). The baby must be present to bring a diaper bag into the athletic facility.

Additional Information

Seat cushions without pockets or compartments will be permitted.

Spectators may carry approved items such as binoculars, cameras, and smartphones without a bag. However, outside food and drink is not allowed.

At a later date, approved clear bags will be available for purchase at the MPS Central Services building (5225 W. Vliet St., Room 163) or online through the GoFan ticketing portal. More information will be shared when available.

Media Members/Photographers

Official Milwaukee City Conference photographers with a pre-approved media pass are permitted to enter the MCC facility with their standard equipment bag(s).

Photographers who have not been pre-approved will need prior approval by the Milwaukee City Conference. Please complete this brief form to initiate the approval process at least 48 hours ahead of the game. Once approved, the photographer can pick up a media pass at the MPS Central Services building (5225 W. Vliet St., Room 163). This media pass will be accepted at all competitions for the remainder of that school year. The individual will be approved to enter the MCC facility with their standard equipment bag(s).

Media members from legitimate news-gathering organizations are pre-approved to enter MCC facilities for competitions, so long as they show proper identification from their news-gathering organization at the door. Pre-approved media members will be permitted to enter the MCC facilities with their standard equipment bag(s).

Important Reminders

There is no bag check. Prohibited items will not be held during the event. Please return any prohibited items to your vehicle before entering the facility.

All bags, including permissible items, are subject to search upon entry to ensure compliance with this policy.
